OK, all this snow business is becoming a little eerie... haha just kidding. Well, it certainly wasn't the NINE inches which was the likely prediction from our weather forecasters (that had everyone here in a tizzy) but we did have about 4" at our house and it snowed steady until about 2 in the afternoon. It was so beautiful :)
Jobi loves it more and more each time we get this white powder! He woke up, went straight to the window first thing, stopping dead in his tracks exclaiming "MOMMY, it NO-WING!!" Luckily I didn't have to go in to work and Chris was off too, so we didn't waste any time getting all bundled up to head outside to play :)
Here are some pics... and a little video too! (found a way to upload!) Enjoy!
Our baby snowman :)
We learned that building a snow man is tough work!! (I know, I know - I sound like a South MS sissy) Snow, of course, covered the yard, but we decided to stick with what was within close range! haha He was little, but BIG on character :) with his orange pixi stick nose and swirly, bouncey ball eyes - complete with the Southern Miss cap! We liked our little buddy!
That evening we headed over to Mumsie and Pop's for pizza and a cozy fire while watching the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics! On our way, we had to stop to take a pic of this creative snowman...
Crawfish flag in one hand, Southern Miss flag in the other - hangin' out in the back of the pickup at Strick's. Doesn't get much better than that! ;-)
