Patriotic Celebration Sunday

This past Sunday at church, we had our annual Patriotic Celebration in the morning, and community picnic/fireworks show in the evening. We had an awesome worship service and great turnout for fun, food, and fireworks. A great way to start the 4th of July holiday week!

Jobi was mesmerized by the fireworks - we were so surprised! We were so glad they didn't scare him. He seemed to love watching them just like his Mommy :) In a few years, we'll see if he enjoys setting them off as much as his DADDY! (Lord help us) haha

Here are some pics from the evening!

Our good friends, the Moores ("Aunt Bef"), have an awesome antique firetruck that has been restored. They decorate and drive the truck in different parades and activities. Jobi loved being in the driver's seat. "ALL ABOARD!!!"
Jobi had a great time "picnicking" with cousins Madison, Ryn, and Walt
Even though he had not had his evening "power nap" and it was past bedtime bottle, Jobi enjoyed all the festivities!
