Sweet Summertime....

OK, I seriously can't believe I have not even posted the FIRST pic of our beach trips from the summer. We didn't go for the first time until early August - which is when we go for our annual James Family vacation. This year, it just ever so nicely happened to coincide with a KENNY CHESNEY concert - his first concert in Orange Beach at The Wharf!!! TWO of my favorite things... ask anyone... KENNY and the BEACH! :) :) :) We had the BEST weekend with Nana and Papa, Patrick, Julie, Alese, Cash, and Arden! I took as many pics with our camera before the battery went dead. But there will still be many more beach pics to come!!


We love to stay at Grand Pointe in OB... right along the AL/FL coastline - nice and quiet but still close enough to everything, beautiful view! But since the hurricanes.... MAN, what a TREK to the beach!! We'll probably have to find somewhere else to stay for a while. All the "stuff" we have to tag along with an almost 2-yr old and a 2 1/2 yr old and a 9 month old... it ain't happenin! And of course Jobi's favorite thing to do was go in and out, in and out from the balcony (in and out, in and out, in and out....)

We joined friends for a pre-concert dinner at Rum Runners and just happened across a group of fishermen who had just returned from a Gulf excursion - check out their catch of the day! They caught two huge swordfish - it was so cool.


Lady Antebellum and the other little peanut is Miranda Lambert - I know you can't tell! The pics are small and dark - but there really is not a bad seat in the Amphitheatre at the Wharf. It was great!


"Sheeeeeeeeee's from Boston!" (OK, so not really - but it's my FAVE Kenny song!) The Red Sox cap was a "must have" especially for the concert. Thanks honey! haha


Sun City Carnival Tour came to town!
