In June, Chris had to go to Atlanta for a week for work and Mommy and Jobi were able to tag along! We LOVE Atlanta... have lots of family in the area, have grown up visiting and vacationing there, been Braves fans since the good ol' lousy days!! haha You get the gist. We jumped at the chance to make this a bit of a family "vaca." When I first thought, wow a whole week... what are we gonna do for a whole week? Little did I know our week would fill up so fast with lots of fun activities!! We weren't even able to do everything we wanted to! Chris bought me a season pass for Six Flags Over GA (ended up being more cost-effective to buy the pass than to pay individually). They have this wonderfully fun area of the park now called "Skull Island." Those of you who are my Facebook friends saw pics :) It's like an entire water park inside the amusement park - BEST OF BOTH WORLDS! We went 3 of the 6 days we were there and got every penny's worth of our expense. It was our very first stop when we entered the park. For those of you interested in checking it out, I highly recommend it!!! There were 2 slides that Jobi was big enough to go down, which he loved! There are also splash pads, tons of water features, toys, cranks, buckets... all kinds of water fun! Then a couple of other days after Skull Island, we sought out some of the kids' areas and rides that Jobi could enjoy.... like Thomas Town!! And also a few other age/height appropriate rides that he was able to go on. The pics you will see in this post are of the first couple of days of our trip. More to come!! (Bear with me... this is a long series of posts, but the pics are too fun not to share and the trip just held too much excitement and adventure!) :)

Off to Thomas Town playground! (bless his baby heart... his cheeks were so red the whole time - it was SO hot but it didn't slow him down a BIT)
Of course, no trip to "Thomas Town" would be complete without a visit to Knapford Station and a ride on Thomas!
