We took Jobi on his first trip (Mom's and Dad's too!) to the Pumpkin Patch! We thought it would be a good family outing to start off the Fall season. We went to Lazy Acres - located in Chunky, MS (that's right.... CHUNKY! just west of Meridian). Besides the pumpkin patch, they have a hay bale maze for the little ones, a corn field maze for adults, face painting, pig races, a petting zoo, and their famous "PUMPKIN CHUNKIN!!'" We had a good time for a quiet Sunday afternoon. There weren't a lot of people as it was close to closing time when we were there and the weather was a little less than desirable, but it was still a fun thing to do for something different. We'll definitely go to another one next year! By that time, Jobi will be all over the place, in to everything, and I'm sure will have
loads of fun! Here are some pics!

Our hay ride to the patch...
Jobi's seriously trying to pick out the best pumpkin!! :)
More animals!
Jobi and turkey in a stare down!
Mommy and Daddy - pumpkin chunkin'! Daddy even won a prize!
OK, here is our first experience with face painting. Jobi did really well as the little girl painted a cute pumpkin on his cheek! Then... 5 seconds later - he proceeds to smear it all over his face (sigh). Oh well. Luckily it all came clean easily with a baby wipe!
Hangin' out - cheering on the pig races! They raced for oreo cookies - seriously.
