... that in between the haircut milestone and our annual beach trip, we got RID of something pretty important!! ANOTHER milestone!!
I took Jobi to his ear recheck with his doctor, Dr. Sobiesk, and upon examination he asks "does he still have a pacifier?" At that point, you should've seen the look of fear on my face as I reluctantly answered "YESSSSSS.... " *sigh* Dr. Sobi, in not so uncertain terms, explained to me that the roof of Jobi's mouth was forming pret-ty good to the paci! Well that was that. He suggested we maybe start trying to wean him off it (which we had already begun doing anyway). We went home, "jerked" big blue like a band-aid and he hasn't had it since! He was pretty dependent on it - he loved it so much! So we had a couple of hard days, but after that - no problemo. He was such a big boy!!
SO LONG "Blue!"
