Last night, we had a GREAT shower at one of my favorite places on Earth....Camp Iti Kana, the home of The Abbie Rogers Civitan Camp - my home for 2 weeks each summer. The decorations and company were great. We recieved some very special gifts and enjoyed our time with our camp family in the fall. Pretty weird because most of the time we spend here we are sweating and last night we were all bundled up. There is a atory behind the lamb cake. Mrs. Abbie (camp founder), who sadly passed in June, always made a lamb cake for baby showers and Christenings. Terri found Mrs. Abbie's lamb mold and wanted to make sure her tradition lived on....Thanks Terri, it meant so much to us. We were happy to have Mr. L.A. (Abbie's husband) and Cheri (Abbie's daughter) there to celebrate with us. Thanks to all of the hostesses for a great shower. We missed all of you camp folks who couldn't attend. See you all in July with a new Staff Brat!
